Meadfoot, Torquay

The rock field is in the centre of a popular local beach on the northern side of Torquay. It is an excellent site to visit with a large variety of rocky shore species and a good gradient of habitats. Look under the rocks.

Free parking is possible along the landward side of the promenade and up Ilsham Road. There are also car parks at either end of the beach. The rocks can be approached from either end or down steps about halfway along the promenade. Postcode: TQ1 2LL, OS Grid Ref: SX 9298 6303. Check out Beach Guide.
